How to keep your dog off of the counter
Tie a bit of fishing line to a piece of bacon on the kitchen counter. On the other end, attach three or four aluminum cans. When the pooch takes the bait and hears the noise, it will jump back, alarmed. Take this moment, upon hearing the noise, to go in and further scold the dog.
