Schedule special date night with your kids
Read about this somewhere before I had kids, filed it away, and just started doing it recently. Each month on the date of your child(ren)'s birthday, they get to pick one parent with whom to go do something. For example, if your son's or daughter's birthday is August 8th, the eighth of each month, he gets a "date night" with the parent of his choice.
