How to store batteries for recycling
Take a used tissue box (a square one) and line it with a quart-sized zipper storage bag and place it in a cupboard or closet. The tissue box opening is the perfect size for disposing of batteries and when lined with a zipper bag, the batteries are safe and secure and will not leak onto surfaces. When the bag is full, simply pull the bag from the tissue box and bring to your battery disposal site.
