How to bake round cookies
To make cookies round, roll the doll into a ball before you cook them. When they come out of the oven they should be round.

This is amazing. I never thought of this before. Roll the dough into a round shape for round cookies? Thank goodness for DayTipper, or I would still be rolling my cookie dough into icosahedrons...

Obvious? Perhaps to some bakers. I for one am a cookie neophyte and will be certain to roll my cookie dough into balls next time. But this does beg the question - will square dough result in square cookies?!?

I roll mine into balls, and than flatten them with the bottom of a cup before they go into the oven - they always turn out perfectly round. I will try your suggestion tho - it might save me from flattening them! Thanks!!
