How to use pennies to track what you eat
If you have trouble keeping track of what you are eating every day, then use pennies. Divide your daily number of calories by 100 and that would be the number of pennies you need. Make a "menu" of items you commonly eat and their "cost": 1 penny for 100 calories (round the calories to the nearest 100). 1400 calories per day would be 14 pennies. A 200 calorie serving of chocolate would be 2 pennies. When your pennies are gone, you are done eating for the day!
