 | | | Cooking > Meal prep Use string cheese to enhance meat loaf flavor Divide your favorite meat loaf mixture in two. Pat half into the baking pan, and top it with sticks of string cheese. The number of sticks needed depends on the size of your recipe. My bread-loaf pan of meat loaf takes six sticks of cheese. Leave some space between the sticks, making sure that no cheese touches the pan. Layer the remaining half of the meat and bake according to your recipe. Your slices of finished meat loaf will have polka-dots of cheese. | | | | | | Barbara in Marietta, Mn | Tips Published: 2 Forward to Friend | Post Comment | Comments (4)

 | | | Green Bye bye shaving cream How can you get a great shave, save money and go green all at the same time? Ditch the aerosol cans of shaving cream and save money on shower gels. Just wash your hair and condition it as usual. But, before you rinse the conditioner out, stroke your hair and apply to your legs and shave. | | | Buying/Selling How to make some extra money with a little cash Go to your local thirft shop(s), make sure the thrift shop is at least decent. There are major bargains there, in fact some large companies practically give some products to thrift shops. You can find a lot of stuff to buy and resell on craigslist.com or eBay for a profit. You can even post things prior to buying if you wish. | | | | | | Anonymous Forward to Friend | Post Comment | Comments (1)

 | | | Pets Use large aluminum pans as litter box for cat Plastic litter pans for cats are expensive and absorb waste odors. Use large-size aluminum roasting pans (used for making lasagna) instead. I find them for a dollar each at discount and dollar stores. The cats don't seem to mind the texture of the aluminum, and it doesn't absorb the odors. If they do get soiled, it's no problem to toss it out and put down a fresh one price, since they are so inexpensive. | | | | | | Anonymous Forward to Friend | Post Comment | Comments (2)
