Self studying for AP tests
A great way to help your chances at the college of your choice is to self study for AP tests. Colleges like to see that you are determined to learn and will study on your own time for the AP tests you decide to take. An important thing to remember is that you should always have a studying schedule so you are prepared when it comes to taking the test in May. You should also take into consideration that it is not advisable to self study if you already have a rigorous schedule at your high school.

Math is easy
When doing your math homework, be neat. It does make a difference. It's not just the answer that counts in math. Much of your grade is based on the intermediate steps in getting to the answer. So show all your work. Your objective should be to convince your teacher that you know how to do the problem. It is important to read over the material in your math text book. Don't just focus on your homework problems. If you don't understand something, ask your teacher as soon as you can.
